Nest #11 found in Corolla

   July 6th 2011 Call #1 Nest #11: Dan reports that he's found a loggerhead crawl in Southern Shores. A perfect nest site is discovered at the foot of the dune. After some digging, Jill calls out, "I've got it!".

   August 23rd 2011: NEST #11 developed a sink hole on Tuesday 8/23 before 7:30 p.m. Nearby visitors indicated they thought it had appeared about 6:00 p.m. ( it had not been there at 4 p.m.) No changes between 9 p.m. and midnight, when the last volunteers left. No signs of emergence at 7:30 a.m. Wed morning, so we will be back on watch Wed. evening!

   August 25th 2011: These little guys are smarter than we think. Last night Nest#11 & Nest#14 had boils. We have been given permission (and advised) to go ahead and excavate. Final count will be posted soon.
