Nest #12 found in Corolla

   July 6th 2011 Call #2 Nest #12: Another loggerhead crawl in Nags Head. Good news though, it's north of the nourishment zone so it doesn't need relocating except... she nested at the bottom of a sharp incline that notoriously erodes into an escarpement so relocation is back on the plate but just to the foot of the dune.

   August 25th 2011: Because Nest #12 (Nags Head) was laid in the same time frame as Nest#11 & Nest#13 we are going to explore that nest and see if there is any activity in that nest. If there has not, it is going to have to ride out this storm. If there are some in there and they are ready to go, we will continue to excavate and release them ahead of Irene.
