Nags Head wins in the race for the first nest of the season for NEST! ATV driver Tim found not only one crawl, but three on his ride this morning. Two false crawls and one successful nest. The nesting response team found the eggs in record time (but not before Susan dug straight down to reveal not eggs… but a ghost crab!). With all fingers intact, they continued on to find beautiful loggerhead eggs! photos to come.
