Turtles are brought into the Star Center and warmed up slowly. When they begin to move about they are given a swim test to see if they are strong enough to lift their heads out of the water to breathe. This little guy failed his swim test twice, so he received fluids on Monday. He also had ointment applied to his eyes so they would not dry out. We have not named him yet, because we are saving a special name for this little guy when he begins to swim.
