Soon after the phones began to ring with the words of Karen Clark (KC) asking nest responders to give Charlotte a call on the N.E.S.T. hotline. The call was met with many N.E.S.T. volunteers meeting at the nest site.

Yup, Doc Margaret did find the eggs!

Viewing the rather weird nest there was some deliberation as to where the eggs would be located and digging began. Doc Margaret found the DNA egg in short (sorta) order and Paula kept the statistics in an orderly fashion.

The stakes were placed and the nest patted down by some of the caring nest responders and the wait starts and hopefully in 55-65 days we will see lots and lots of little loggers made their way to their life’s journey.
