On Sunday, June 12, 2011, N.E.S.T. volunteers and staff members from the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, National Park Service, and NC Wildlife Resources Commission had a very successful beach release of 5 juvenile green turtles at Buxton Beach near the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
