Everyone knows just how much Karen Clark (KC ) likes those early a.m. phone calls (especially on Sat and Sun interrupting family time), but she always takes them in stride and her notes of joy to call Charlotte at the NEST hot line brought forth lots of NEST volunteers to the nest site.

There are the eggs … and Paul found the first one

There was digging and digging and digging and of course Paul found the egg at the last dig spot. Karen P. was the key in getting the stats on paper.

The biteing black flies called in for reinforcements which expedited the placing of the stakes and finishing the measurements. The NEST response team posed for the group picture and Gail always the teacher dismissed the group for recess.
