ATV rider, Darlene J, found her first nest today!  The thunder storms last night battered the crawl but Darlene still spotted it.

Mother sea turtle’s crawl was blurred by last night’s severe thunderstorms.

Perhaps mother turtle was concerned about potential beach erosion from Isaias as she laid her nest right next to the sand fencing on this narrow beach. It was an excellent choice. Nesting responders Cathy and Kyle D took this site on and found the eggs right away.

Kyle finds the eggs.

All the data was collected and measurements taken.
