This year is turning out to be a big one for NEST.  33 nests are the second highest number found in a season since we began 25 years ago. We hope more to come as we still have two weeks to build on our success! First place goes to 2016 where we found a whopping 52 nests. This could not have happened without each and every one of our dedicated volunteers. Lets hope the hurricanes wait for our hatchlings to get to the ocean!

ATV rider Brenda B finds Nest 33, her second nest this year.

Nesting responders, Pam and Bob, marked the path of the mother turtle with pink flags and yellow cord in order to help locate the eggs

Pam gets ready to dig for the nest. Found it on the first attempt!
