After a six day gap in activity, a mammoth mother loggerhead laid a nest in Nags head!  Some observant visitors from New Jersey spotted this mother laying eggs and called our hotline to alert us.

The expert team led by Pam and Bob M quickly found the eggs and took on measuring the nest and crawl, installing data loggers, and setting up a protective  nest perimeter
