5:50 AM ATV rider John calls in with a report of a crawl on the 4WD beach just north of the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge.  Nesting Responders were called to the scene and were all hopeful to find a nest site.  They followed the incoming tracks up the beach about 50 feet, followed the track as she turned to the south, kept following it as she looped around in the sand once or probably even twice, and then followed it as the outgoing track, crossing the incoming track and heading back to the ocean… but no nest site to be found.  Maybe tomorrow?
