Network for Endangered Sea Turtles 24 HR. HOTLINE 252-441-8622

Monday evening, a quiet ceremony marked the beginning of an exciting new time for our sea turtle rehabilitation center.  We broke ground on a new facility!  To be called the STAR Center (Sea Turtle Assistance and Rehabilitation), the larger rehab will continue to be a partnership between the Network for Endangered Sea Turtles and the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island.  Once completed, the facility will allow visitors to see N.E.S.T. volunteers working with our turtle patients.  Volunteers, staff, and interactive exhibits will educate about sea turtles and their plight.  Stay tuned for updates!!!
