The N.E.S.T. response team arrived to a perfect crawl and a defined nest pit.

Mama sea turtle must have been in quite a hurry as a lone broken egg was found in the incoming track.

There was a record 25 N.E.S.T. volunteers and many had the opportunity to experience the location of the nest eggs, of taking the necessary measurements, and the posting of the nest stakes.

Nest brochures were distributed by N.E.S.T. volunteers to interested beach visitors and all left the beautiful beach in anticipation of many little loggerhead turtles emerging in approximately 2 months.
