Jim Kranda off to find another sea turtle nest.
On July 19, NEST ATV driver Jim Kranda found his second nest for 2016 in Nags Head. The nest was very close to Jim’s first find (Nest 24). The odd thing is that the track crawl was very similar on nest 24 and nest 34.

Look at the incoming crawl track on the right for nest 34. Could this be the same sea turtle mama as Nest 24?
The now all seasoned response team quickly determined the location of where they thought the nest eggs would be and sure enough Les found the DNA egg in short order.
