Tuesday morning, in the midst of a huge thunderstorm, a local volunteer sighted a large loggerhead doing her thing on the 4WD beach of Currituck. As soon as the storm cleared, our ATV rider and local responder came to the nest. Thanks to the good markings left by our friends, our volunteers quickly located the eggs and staked the site off.
